I like coffee, good coffee is good and American coffee isn't. I lived in America for a while and while I love just about everything about America, especially In 'n' Out Burger, I don't love their coffee. Anyway, today I walked into Campos Coffee in Newtown to buy some beans. Now, in case you don't already know, Campos has a variety of beans to choose from, all roasted to perfection on site with every conceivable detail concerning their roasting profile recorded (even the temperature and barometric something). They're serious about coffee. Anyhoo, today they had a new blend: The Obama Blend here's the description: (seriously)
"Great depth of character, strong and eloquent. This very appealing blend unites coffees from Africa and the Americas to produce a cup which has gotten us excited. Formidable middle palate flavours, syrupy with an uplifting finish. Excellent choice for going forward and ideal for those interested in change."
Sorry, but I'm totally stumped, I have not one smart-alec thing to say about this, nothing. I'm lost for words.
I bought some and it didn't live up to its publicity.
